Technology Centre Vorpommern (TZV)

The Technology Centre Vorpommern (TZV) is the lead partner of the whole project and additionally leads the work packages 1 and 2.

As the organiser the TZV has contacts to all project partners. The Technology Centre has a lot of experience during building up the network BalticNet-PlasmaTec. Furthermore the TZV has experiences in international scientific marketing. Within this project the TZV realises the management of the project together with the other work packages leaders'. Due to the closeness to all partners the TZV leads WP 2 and is involved in the technology transfer within WP 3.

Leibniz-Institute for Plasma Science and Technology (INP)

The INP is the leader of the WP 5 and also one of the co-workers in the work packages 2, 3, 4 and 6.

The Leibniz-Institute introduces knowledge and expertise in the fields of plasma chemistry, barrier discharge reactor designs as well as plasma and gas phase diagnostic into the project. The participation of the INP includes the following points:

  1. Coordination and cooperation of a joint compendium on volatile organic compound (VOC) removal by means of plasma based and -assisted technologies. This works with a profound overview on existing technologies and future prospects of plasma based technology applications;
  2. The set-up of a time resolved, highly sensitive gas and plasma analytic system based on infrared-laser absorption spectroscopy;
  3. Construction and testing of a novel and up-scalable reactor design for combined plasma-driven catalytic chemical reactions and particulate matter extraction based on barrier discharge configurations.

VDI Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania

The VDI Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania acts as a co-worker in WP 2 and WP 3. VDI is the acronym for the Association of German Engineers.

Within the PlasTEP project the VDI will inform their members about the possibilities and chances of this innovative technology.

Additionally they engage the support of the preparation of investments together with the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers, Szczecin Branch (SEP) and the other partners. The VDI will render assistance for the communication and information process to the decision makers from industry and society.
